Fratelli's knows that, to be a proper Italian restaurant, you have to stand out from the crowd. From a modern interior of dark wood, classic chairs and quite a 'bistro' feel, to the attractive dishes that emanate all day from the kitchen, the restaurant has that 'edge' that often means the difference between success and failure.

The menu is pleasing and reassuring, so you've got all your olive, bruschetta and antipasti starters, then the mains reel you in even further with a good pizza selection, interesting pastas, risottos and gnocchi, and the full mains, which include a particularly good veal escalope.

There's a very good value $35 pre-theatre set menu, as well as the Fratelli Feast, offered every Tuesday for the same $35, which will give you more than you can eat, plus a dessert, which you just might have to pack up and take home with you.
