Based in the capital for more than quarter of a century, Great India has been serving Indian cuisine to locals and visitors since 1983.
Based in the heart of the city in Manners Street, near Wellington's bars and nightlife, the restaurant is a great spot for a night out with friends or for dinner before catching a movie or a show.
Great India specialises in Anglo-Indian cuisine and the menu features many popular dishes including Rogan josh and butter chicken alongside modern dishes such as Goan Pork curry which includes pork marinated for 24 hours, and a Venison curry from Nepal.
Monday to Friday: Midday - 2pm and 5pm - late / Saturday and Sunday: Midday - 3pm and 5pm - late.
