Built in 1874, this historic building is one of the oldest surviving sports club in the North Island. With a waterfront setting, The Boatshed offers a memorable backdrop for events and weddings.

The venue features a spacious main function room with a wooden floor and an adjoining bar/lounge area that can be separated with dividing doors. The venue is is well suited to smaller parties of 25 up to larger groups up to 300.

You can choose a caterer from the list of preferred caterers or select a caterer of your own choice allowing total control over the details of the night. Whether planning a dream wedding, private celebration or the perfect product launch, the Boatshed has the facilities to suit your plans.
