For over 60 years, Interislander has transported more than 800,000 passengers annually, showcasing Wellington Harbour and the Marlborough Sounds. The crossing between New Zealand’s North and South Islands takes just over three hours and is considered one of the world’s most picturesque ferry journeys.
Onboard, passengers can enjoy meals and drinks at the bar, walk on the outdoor decks, watch movies, or relax in the Premium Lounge. The service uses three modern ferries—Kaitaki, Aratere, and Kaiarahi—maintaining regular daily sailings across Cook Strait throughout the year.
