Voted one of the world’s top 10 barn wedding venues, Tarureka Estate is a stunning wedding venue situated in the Wairarapa, one hour north of Wellington.

The historic homestead, cottage and barn is set in four acres of gorgeous gardens, offering everything you need for your wedding weekend or winter getaway.  The two-storey, 130 year-old homestead features seven bedrooms and can accommodate 18 guests.

The sensitively restored Loft is an ideal venue for weddings and other event types, with a banquet area for 120 upstairs and a bar and dance floor area downstairs.  Ceremonies can be held in one of the gardens or, under the soaring, chapel-like ceiling of the Loft.
