The Library
Wellington
The Library is tucked away in the centre of Wellington's lively Courtenay Place. The name gives the style of the decor away. It's a cosy, atmospheric bar that is a popular spot to let your hair down.
The fun bar offers a good selection of cocktails including the ' Lower Hutt Lemon Meringue' and a 'Watermelon Margarita', along with a carefully selected wine list.
The food menu concentrates on smaller light sized bites that are great for sharing. The savoury treats include a Manuka smoked salmon platter, beef and stout pastries and 'Library Fries' with truffle mayonnaise. A selection of cheese is also offered to accompany your glass of wine.
The dessert menu is a favourite, featuring a Strawberry & Pistachio Tart, chocolate truffle tart and a warm chocolate fondant.
