Right in the middle of Wellington's bohemian Cuba Street sector, the Fringe Bar is an ever-changing entertainment venue, offering everything from stand-up to karaoke to film.

The Wellington Improvisation Troupe (the aptly acronymed WIT) performs at the Fringe Bar every Wednesday, and that bar has also played host to many of the shows in the annual Fringe Festival. If you're looking for quirky, alternative performances, The Fringe Bar is the place to be. And don't forget to stay on past the show, when the karaoke machine gets turned on.
