Takina Events

Conference Venues Function Rooms Meeting Rooms Convention Centres
Tākina Events includes two iconic centrally located sites, Tākina and Te Papa. Together, they redefine conferences in Wellington.

You can choose two neighbouring sites, offering endless possibilities for how you want your event to run.  Ambience and character define Te Papa, our national museum.  The spaces welcome your guests to soak up the history, art, and culture and take sweeping views of Wellington's iconic harbour.

Across the road is Tākina, a modern purpose-built conference venue, an ideal stage for an impactful event.  With stunning architecture, intelligent spaces, and cutting-edge technology, this venue has the wow factor.

Our food philosophy focuses on nourishing people, places, and the planet.  You can look forward to hearty dishes with ingredients from neighbouring regions.  Our food does justice to Wellington's title of Aotearoa's culinary capital.
