Chocolate Cafe is located in the old defence buildings on Shelly Bay Road overlooking the harbour.  The family friendly waterfront spot has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with views of Wellington harbour.  

The cafe serves delicious fresh seafood with a twist. The specialty is artisan style barbequed seafood sammies, with garlic aioli and greens.  The menu also features a range of non seafood items cooked on the BBQ, along with tasty cakes, scones, meringues, ice creams and ice blocks.  There are also gluten and dairy free, and vegetarian options.

For those wanting to relax even more, the cafe offers a range of craft beer, cider and local wines to sip while enjoying the views.

Closed:  Tuesday & Wednesday
