Small, private owned and non-profit museum that's dedicated to showcasing the history of tattoos in New Zealand with a focus on traditional Maori 'Ta Moko' tattoo art.
The National Tattoo Museum of New Zealand is the only museum of its kind in the South Pacific region. Both indiginous and modern day tattoos are presented from New Zealand and across the world.
Open 7 days a week: 12:00pm - 5:30pm
Friday and Saturday: 12.00pm - 8:00pm.
Admission is free.
