Your PADI Rescue Diver course complete's the PADI triangle for diver safety. You learn what could be called 'defensive diving' techniques for emergency situations and a more in depth understanding of diving in general. Planning better dives and being more prepared.
As with Open Water and Advanced Open Water, your PADI eLearning encompasses the Knowledge Development portion then you're prepared for the weekend program. We start with a review of your Open Water Diver self-rescue skills and fine tune these ready for the Rescue Diver Exercises. Then we head to the Open Water for the remainder of the course.
SCUBA divers with this rating enjoy a greater understanding of scuba diving and become great dive buddies. Fellow Rescue divers prefer to dive with those at a similar level. Once certified, you are able to start the PADI Divemaster course for professional development. The PADI Rescue Diver course is also a component of your Master SCUBA Diver rating.
